Decarbonization: A Discussion

Victoria, BC - Sept 12, 2023 | Vancouver, BC - Sept 13, 2023 | Calgary, AB - Sept 14, 2023

Trane has gathered our subject matter experts across the organization to bring you answers.

In 2022, the Government of Canada published Canada’s 2030 Emission Reduction Plan detailing what is needed to reach an ambitious climate target of 40-45% emissions reduction by 2030. Now is the time to get ahead of the curve and learn about how to accomplish carbon targets that will become more aggressive in years to come.

The journey to decarbonize your building is uniquely yours and Trane can meet you at any point. Whether policy, regulations or your own ESG goals are motivating your building to change, Trane has the answers.

Decarbonization, Thermal Storage & Ice Heating
The Storage-Source Heat Pump (SSHP) system is the innovative all-electric cooling and heating solution that helps to decarbonize and reduce energy costs by utilizing thermal energy storage to reclaim yesterday's waste energy for tomorrow's heating so you can make all-electric heat pump heating possible. The system can reliably modify HVAC operations to balance heating and cooling needs and offset or eliminate the fossil fuel used by traditional heating systems, even in cold climates, to meet new building regulations for strategic building electrification and reduce carbon emissions.
